		Welcome to my personal homepage! I am a senior research scientist at Center for Analysis and Prediction of Storms (CAPS) and adjunct associate professor of School of Meteorology,University of Oklahoma (OU). I have been working on radar data assimilation research area for over 12 years while at CAPS. My major interest is in short-term storm prediction using the radar data. Unlike many other meteorologists here who love to chase storms or even tornadoes, I would rather stay indoors and play with complex formulae and computers.

		3D Variational Data analysis (3DVAR) using Adjoint Techniques; 4D Variational Data Assimilation (4DVAR) using Adjoint Techniques; Radar Data analysis and assimilation in meterology; Short-term severe thunderstorm warnings and forecsts using radar data; General Adjoint theory and application; Ensemble Kalman Filter (EnKF) and application;
